Summary/Abstract: Diversity and its management are not a determinant of the level of social responsibility of organization. Therefore in implementing a diversity policy, an enterprises should disclosure of information in this respect, because it enable stakeholders to better understanding of organization’s activities and the impact of those activities on the environment. Purpose: the objective of the article is to present the concept of diversity as a factor for the development of modern enterprises. Taking into account the complexity of the issues discussed, the article focuses on the problem of communication to stakeholders about the diversity. Research methodology: the classical methods of research are used in this article, such as the analysis of sources and method of deduction. The research was based on the analysis of literature and social reports. Findings: Among the social issues it is important to recognize the diversity of employees, who constitute a non-material resources, that are creating enterprise value. It determines the necessity not only the understanding but also the identifying a diversity and its proper management as well as the transparent communication of information from that perspective. Communication of information about the diversity means that enterprises recognize the potential of diversity, which is a source of surplus value creation.
