Summary/Abstract: Answering the questions of interviewer Péter Tasnádi-Sáhy, the director and the dramaturg of the recent Oradea staging of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the young theatre-makers, Jakab Tarnóczi –who is currently in a senior student in the directing class at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest – and Zsófia Kukk – a recent dramaturg graduate of the same university – touch upon the central ideas of the performance, concerning space, costume, music, dramaturgy, and the merging of some roles. Tarnóczi’s mise-en-scène tells the story of the amorous complications by bringing together the two planes, of humans and fairies, placed in an atmosphere of resignation and melancholy, corruption, and decay.
