Summary/Abstract: In the chapter „Arrival “ in Andrich’s novel „Omerpasha Latas” author wrote about the singer from Bijelo Polje, who sung funny songs and enterteimnet guests in Šerifovića Guesthouse in Sarajevo where Omerpasha temporarily settled. Milenić analyzed unusual and comical figure of the Singer and humour in Andrich’s prose and yuoted words from his short stories and novels. Andrich’s Singer has sung with “thin voice, little through nose”. It is example of the parody in literature. The Singer parodied a wedding, foods, which in Oriental love songs, of course, iu is not with big significance. What is about the humour in Andrich’s prose? We remembered figure Alihodza from the novel “Bridge on Drina”, episodes from the novella “Anika’s Times” etc. In the study “Bitter serenitiy of East – the humour in Andrich’s novels” Ranko Popovich wrote about that theme. First word in the title of the study all talks. In Andrich’s novels a humour exists but bitter. We would say that in this short, but wonderfull episode with the Singer that it is unfinished. Andrich would write magnificant short story. Also in this form as small episode remains the impression that it has written by the hand of great writer as well all the novel „Omerpasha Latas”.
