Summary/Abstract: What are personal values of young people in Bulgaria after the end of transition to capitalism? In the paper are analyzed some sociological data from the last large survey from 2014 year and from the comparative survey of students values attitudes in three Balkan countries. The dominating values are to be independent, to look good, to have a good job and carrier and to be responsible. The independence is interpreted in personal sense – it could not be applied to political participation and civic values. Young people do not belief in success through work. They are not active in civil initiatives and protests. Why new capitalism has turned young people in individualists and socially irresponsible people?
