Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of research on conflicts in family enterprises. Studies are basis for a doctoral dissertation of MSc. Marta Pawłowska. In the article, next to the theoretical part concerning the subject of family entrepreneurship and the conflicts accompanying the process of succession, the authors present different perspectives of both generations – founder and successor. The aim of these considerations is to analyze the existing situation of family enterprises on the verge of succession in the aspect of conflicts and differences in their perception through ownership and succession generations.
