Summary/Abstract: In this paper, we explore how often science is the topic of reporting on the four most widely used informative web portals in Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to research by alexa.com, the most popular informative web portals in Bosnia and Herzegovina are klix.ba, avaz.ba, dnevnik.ba and blic.rs.In a survey that will last a month (February 2018), we will check how often science is the topic of the mentioned portals, what kind of science is it (socio-humanistic, natural, technical), whether the texts refer to international scientific research or research in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We will also analyze who the collocutors (sources of information) are in the texts related to science, who is the author of such texts and how the texts are presented (from the title, text equipment, text length). We are also interested in the genre (news, report, feature) and the sections where the themes of science are most often covered. The research showed that in a month, a total of 189 news in the field of science was published, mostly on the portal klix.ba, which still has the most published news in all sections. Most topics are published in the field of natural sciences. The research found that texts related to international research were mainly about natural science, while domestic research focused more on social science and humanities. Most texts are published in the form of news, without deeper analysis and interpretation. In the texts dominate leads which are characterstic for informative forms, and reporters contacted mostly just one interlocutorin theri texts. There is a large number of texts (about 24%) without any source of information.
