Summary/Abstract: The presented study concerns entering the labour market of young people from generation Y and representatives of the youngest generation Z and challenges for employers, including owners of family businesses, related to this issue. The aim of the article is to present the perception of family businesses and their attractiveness as employers by the representatives of the youngest generations on the labour market. Therefore, describing the representatives of the Y generation and the Z generation, the attention was paid to the characteristics, values and expectations of the representatives of these generations. The issues discussed were described in reference to the subject literature. The main part of the article contains the results of surveys conducted among students. Based on the obtained research results, factors that can support family business owners in acquiring these employees and engaging them in their activities have been identified.
