Summary/Abstract: Referring to the data, which was made public after the last census of USA in 2010, Polonia has reached quite high social and economic position. Structure of education of Polish emigrants has been currently compared to the equivalent structure of American society. Analysis of economic data indicates that annual incomes of Polonia in 2010 were not different from incomes of American family. Moreover, concerning the aspect per capita Poles reached higher amounts than Americans. A wage or salary earner women account for wider group within all employed women. Although, there were many changes within the past years, the type of work performed by women is still strongly connected to traditional men’s and women’s jobs apportionment. Cleaning and daycare are usually women’s activities. However, increase of women’s involvement within earners concerning both employees and self-employed workers is to be observed. Emigrants improve their qualifications and invest in themselves more and more, which allows them to obtain better jobs and give them an ability to increase the quality of life as well as correspond directly to the opportunities, which are provided by the American market.
