Summary/Abstract: Some of the challenges that family businesses have to solve derived from their ownership structure – succession in the company, access to stable and diversified funding sources, internationalization strategies to compete in the economic environment and internally, the roots of its workers in time and space. In the present work it is shown how this establishment was achieved by the workers of the company Misster Doggie, following the principles of action in the sociological theory of Structuring. The general objective of this research is to document the impact that the theory of Structuring has, applying it exclusively with women in the family business Misster Doggie. The question that synthesizes the problem under the study is “How to use some of the principles of the Giddens theory in the solution of the problem of the roots of the workers of the company Misster Doggie?”. The methodological approach was the Qualitative because it is about knowing processes, structures and people in a holistic way. The information was retrieved using the interview and observation guides for the workers and the owner of the company. The results obtained in the implementation of the Giddens theory in the company Misster Doggie, make clear that in this company a social system is structured by relationships reproduced by the workers of the company, organized as regular social practices that have an impact on the family system of the workers, contributing to improve the general welfare. This work can be framed in the line of Personnel Administration in family businesses and the implementation of new theories in practice.
