LEGAL FOUNDATION OF PRICE MAINTENANCE IN THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA AND EUROPEAN UNION

Summary/Abstract: The authors’ focus in the article is on the price maintenance on the free market. First, they briefly present the contents of the Serbian Prices Act. Then, they analyse it and state their objections and propositions with regard to specific provisions and deficiencies of the Act. Lastly, the authors point to the legal foundation and modalities of price maintenance in the European Union. By the merits of that comparison, they make the ircontribution to much needed improvements in provisions and effectiveness of the Serbian Prices Act.
