Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the present paper is to analyze the antecedents of psychic distance perceived by managers of Polish firms operating in the German market. The subject of our analyses are individual, firm-level and industry-level factors, which can to a different extent explain the distance towards the foreign market as perceived by decision makers. The analyses described in the paper are based upon research conducted within an ongoing research project financed by the National Science Center (no. 2014/13/B/HS4/03297).
