Summary/Abstract: The Anti-terrorist Act as the Base of Functioning of the Anti-terrorist System of Poland in the System of the Crisis Management. In the presented article basic elements of the anti-terrorist system of Poland were characterised. Special attention was paid to tasks which these elements are fulfilling. The Antiterrorist Act which was introduced into the Polish legal system in 2016 was regarded as one of important components. A substantial role of this act was emphasized in the functioning of the anti-terrorist system of Poland and its contribution to the counteraction for terrorist threats.
