Summary/Abstract: In the article I present concretism (ontological reism, pansomatism) created by Tadeusz Kotarbiński as a possible basis for the ontological claims of deep ecology. I show that reduction of metaphysical categories proposed by Kotarbiński, according to which there are only things (i.e. body, concretes), and related with it criticism of the dualism of "soul-body", can be defined as a theory of "ontological egalitarianism". It can be then treated as ajustification of "biospherical egalitarianism" and non-anthropocentric vision of reality postulated by deep ecologists. It is possible to identify a number of issues connecting Kotarbińskie ontological concept with main assumptions of deep ecology, which are described by its founder Arne Naess and his disciples.
