Summary/Abstract: The article enters into a critical discussion with the hypotheses put forward in the most recent book on the religious policy of Theodoric the Great, the ruler of the Ostrogoths and Romans in Italy. The book, by Monika Ożóg, was published twice: first in the Polish language (2012), and then in English (2016).
