Lexical categorisation of the reality in dictionaries of the Polish lexicography of the past century

Summary/Abstract: The primary aim of this sketch is to present the changes which have occurred in the dictionaries of Polish compiled and published over the past century, since Poland regained independence. The changes concern the repertoire of the qualifiers used in the dictionaries. The major hypothesis adopted by the authors is related to the manner of categorising the reality by semantic fields determined by qualifiers.
