Summary/Abstract: Korczyńska-Partyka explores the city in relation to urban nature. This concept links what is human and what is non-human and reveals the multilayered network that forms the city. In this space, each element is actively involved in a shimmering narrative that is both shared and hybrid. For Korczyńska-Partyk, the tools developed in material ecocriticism and at the intersection between urban studies and memory studies foster possibilities to reevaluate relationships within the city. Examining Miron Białoszewski’s work, she demonstrates how those tools serve not merely to reinterpret his work but to reveal the ecocritical potential within them.
