On the bulgarians in Italy today 2017

Summary/Abstract: The text systematizes and analyzes the composition, the characteristics and the organizational forms of the Bulgarian community in Italy up to date. Special attention is paid to the formal organizations and places in which the community identifies itself. By showing the ways of interaction with the local society, the text criticizes the public opinion and the conventional view about the Bulgarian community in the Apennine peninsula. The current relationship issues between the Bulgarian state and the expatriate Bulgarian citizens are discussed during the exposition, furthermore offering hypothetical ways for their positive development.
