Summary/Abstract: When we look to understand meaning, being in the world comes first. That is, we are already always in the world, a world of others. Through our collective experience of time and the world we can achieve possibilities of fluid, transforming meanings and signs. Meaning does not inhere in particular, stable forms. Rather, meaning develops through action.
