Fire Protection and Protection against Disaster in federated state Brandenburg

Summary/Abstract: This publication is devoted to the organization of fire protection and disaster protection systems in the federated state Brandenburg in the Federal Republic of Germany. The study was divided into two main blocks.The first is present the organization of Federal Republic of Germany, the distribution of competences between the federal authorities and the federated states, the principles of combating non‑police threats. The second block contains information on the legal solution for the functioning of fire protection and disaster protection in Brandenburg.In many places, the translations may be different from those in Polish, as a result of the author’s long‑standing experience of cooperation between bodies and institutions carrying internal security tasks.
