Summary/Abstract: The Iranian crisis, generated by the intense efforts of a totalitarian regime (and which makes no secret of its aggressive intentions) for the production of nuclear weapons and performing means of transport at its best, can in no case be a security issue neglect.Garry Sick's article, a man who has been connected to Iranian issues since the 1980 hostage crisis, is a matter of concern at all times. This is all the more so since Romania's decision to participate in the anti-missile shield is still a hot topic in public debates. The article is based on the premise that, for over two decades, Israel and the United States have consistently warned about the Iranian nuclear threat (in the idea that something must be done to prevent it from being thwarted), under the current conditions, the response of the international community, may be delayed, must be more carefully elaborated.
