Liability of a statutory representative for non-compliance with mandatory vaccination

Summary/Abstract: The text presents issues related to protective vaccinations, which arouse much controversy among parents. On the one hand, arguments are presented by opponents of vaccination, who claim that the value of vaccinations is questionable and treat them as State coercion and excessive interference in the sphere of freedom, including the exercise of parental authority. Such arguments are refuted by vaccination proponents who emphasise that immunisation minimises the occurrence of many infectious diseases, and some as smallpox have thereby been eradicated. The author presents current statistics on vaccination and ways to enforce its execution
