Summary/Abstract: Returning to the leading questions of ordinary translation into semiotranslation regarding the theoretical importance of the practical transference from one language into another (Chapter 2), this basic vision of language-and-grammar “translation” can be developed further within the two-step model of translating (process) and translation (product). For this central thesis, the persistent vision can be changed from the two-step translation into the more radical three-step scheme of translatability, translation, and translating. This foundation of language- and-culture includes many variations in details and accessories (Gorlée in Anderson, Gorlée 2011) (Chapter 3).
