‘To abolish all illegal forms of supply immediately’: the guarantee of Soviet regional nomenclature with consumer goods (1943–1947)

Summary/Abstract: In accordance with decision by SNK USSR (Council of People's Commissars USSR) and Central Committee of VCP(b) dated July 12, 1943 prior to the end 1947 the limits to the supply with industrial goods without the cards were introduced for the leading workers of party, Komsomol, Soviet, economic and trade-union organizations. Were established two groups of nomenclature, for the first of which the limit was determined in the size of 1 thousand rub., for the second – 750 rub. to the half-year. This decision forbade to establish other forms of supply with food and industrial goods of the leading workers. However, in practice this prohibition was not observed. The leaders of different levels solved their vital problems, separately without considering the Communist morals.
