Capital letters in the names of holidays and periods of the Orthodox liturgical year

Summary/Abstract: Writing capital letters in the names of holidays and periods of the liturgical year creates problems for many writers, because the codification concerning this matter is relatively insufficient. This fact causes volatility of usage not only in Czech Orthodox texts, but in Czech religious texts in general. This article summarizes the opinions on this topic in the literature and offers some suggestions.
