THE NORTH ATLANTIC TREATY ORGANIZATION REAFFIRMS ITS DETERMINATION TO OBSERVE THE MAIN NORMS AND PRINCIPLES OF PEACE AND SECURITY IN THE CONTEMPORARY WORLD

Summary/Abstract: At the Lisbon Summit – on November 2010 – the leaders of the North-Atlantic Treaty Organization, through the actual definition of the concept of security, have reaffirmed their determination to observe the main norms and principles of peace and security in the contemporary world. The action of the organization to guarantee security of every state member represents a contribution to maintain peace and security in the world. The Organization has expressed its determination to discourage any action against peace and security, taking any possible initiative to preserve and to consolidate those norms and principles of the Law of Peace, recognised by the Community of nations.
