Summary/Abstract: Two questions need to be answered in orientation of the investor to invest in stocks. The first one is which company should be invested in stock. Once the decision is taken, the question of when the investment should be made is on the agenda. In order to be able to answer these questions, financial information about the companies and graphics related to the technical analysis are needed. This information, which was only available to specialists in the past, is easily accessible today for every investor thanks to developing technology and information network. The most important factor when investing in stock exchanges is time. Ideal timing provides significant advantages both in buying and selling, in terms of return to investor. As a result of globalization, there is also the opportunity to make international investments that increase the investor's options. At this point, analysis have significant importance. Once the investor chooses the country to invest in, he must decide which company or companies will invest. When choosing a company, the most appropriate resources to analyse for the investors are the financial statements of the company. When financial statements are evaluated, the financial analysis method is used. The other issue that is as important as the company choice is timing. Technical analysis is used in timing. These two analyses will increase the risk factor when they used independently. It would be beneficial to use financial and technical analysis together to reduce both the risk factor and the expected maximum return from the investment. In this study, the results of common use of financial and technical analysis of the companies in the white goods sector during the five financial period in BIST Stock Exchange Istanbul are examined.
