Summary/Abstract: Seen even by Mackinder as a "pivot area", Black Sea only needs what is called "balance of power" between state and non-state entities with strategic interests in the area. Complexity of the divergent interests of coastal States of the Black Sea and wider Black Sea area states doesn’t allow the solving of the insecurity status without a proper position of cooperation between the countries in the region.
