Summary/Abstract: This article discusses the diagnosis and evaluation of the teacher and includes practical advice on how to achieve success, not only individually, but also for the class as well as individual students. Evaluation is used to identify the teacher’s own work and serves as a basis for particular corrective actions, which should be subject to further control and reevaluation after a certain period of time, in order to ensure the validity of those corrective actions. Evaluation, therefore, improves the quality of work and contributes to further improvement of the teacher’s actions. The article showcases practical methods which are based on professional experience and scientific theories which have evolved significantly throughout the years, thus becoming extremely valuable for the teacher.
