Summary/Abstract: Necati Cumali, a versatile writer-poet in Turkish Literature, has been expressing social issues with individual motives, conveying to the reader a realistic style of events he hears and hears around him. The writer, who studied in two groups, individual and social stories, was not involved in any literary community. In his works, Cumali, who always keeps people, values in the foreground, made vivid portraits, used a fluent language, and did not hesitate to remind himself of the personality of the writer. In addition to the concepts of love, justice and righteousness, sexuality, love, revenge, violence are the other issues that the writer deals with, especially about the male-female relationships in Anatolia. His works which he frequently spoke of the Aegean Region he did not exhibit a prejudiced hold against the people of Anatolia and expressed the Anatolian people with a warm language. His works have been staged as theaters, turned into films. Blank Cradle, Zeliş, Mine, Widowed Woman and Derya Gülü are a few of these. Necati Cumalı's story book Susuz Yaz, published as the third story book, deals with problems such as peasants, villagers' problems, women's injustice and revenge. The story named Susuz Yaz, which is included in the story book Susuz Yaz, is adapted by Metin Erksan. In 1964 he was awarded the Golden Bear of the Berlin Film Festival. In this work, the story of Susuz Yaz will be focused on structure, point of view, narrative plane, space, time, theme and poetry.
