MULTICULTURALISM, FINAL SPACE AND HISTORY POST. Reflections on the novel White Teeth (Zadie Smith)

Summary/Abstract: The article offers some reflections upon the multiculturalist ideology in the British space, the identities created at the convergence between traditions and (micro)histories, and, especially, upon tendencies – which we are all whitnessing today – to create a new conceptual paradigm, beyond postmodernism, multiculturalism and post-history.The emerging aspects of the new paradigm are illustrated in a case study - the novel White Teeth by Zadie Smith – one of the most relevant literary productions at the dawns of the 21st century.
