The positions of supporters and opponents of the introduction of this law are analyzed. At protecting Russian books in Ukraine were made by O. Afonin, I. Stepurin, Yu. Volodarsky who are sure that the state measures led to the «washing out» of Russian book production in general, regardless of its nature. The law was supported by the brothers Kapranovs, B. Budny, A. Kokotiukha, D. Vysoven and others experts who argue that such measures will not only stop the flow of anti-Ukrainian materials to Ukraine, but will also give priority for Ukrainian publishers.
