Summary/Abstract: Discovered in 2010, the discussed artefact is made of Spondylus gaederopus Linnaeus, 1758. Our analysis shows the number of problems raised by the typology of the objects made of this raw material, as well as the complex questions regarding its source. The artefact is interpreted as a belt buckle that belonged to a woman.
