Summary/Abstract: The Russian propaganda machine can become a major threat for the countries from Eastern Europe. Putin is using Western models of communication and Stalinist propaganda techniques to undetermine the democratic values. With the increasing of the Russia Today covering area, Russia’s propaganda effort has a global dimension. Russia’s communication strategy towards Crimea has a lot of common places with NATO communication strategy towards Kosovo.
