Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the Orange City Public Library in California. It examines the organization and functioning of the library, its departments, programs, and relations with patrons. Special attention is given to library’s support groups such as the “Orange Public Library Foundation”, the “Friends of the library”, and library volunteers. Last but not least, major challenges in library financing and day to day operations are discussed.
