Summary/Abstract: The article presents the interrelations between different factors found in empirical study and the self-esteem of teachers about the success of their work with children with special needs and their confidence in the realization of the goals of inclusive education. In the regression analysis, significant correlations with the confidence and success of teachers are identified with the factors such as place of habitation, number of children in the kindergarden, participation of teachers inclusive education courses, as well as their professional experience with children with specific needs. All variables except one - the place of habitation are in positive correlation. In this framework, some issues concerning the educational environment, the professional qualification and the specialized experience for working with children with specific needs of the children’s kindergarten teachers in Bulgaria are analyzed.
