Summary/Abstract: William Shakespeare’s Othello as being representative example of the interpretations in which I tried to discover how the institutions such as court and church fashioned the society and politics of Shakespeare’s age including several key political and social issues – the tumultuous political events and power, family relations, the question of religion, discriminations and prejudice – that also represent the current issues of the modern age in which we live. In Othello, Shakespeare, in addition to affective excesses of credulity which can be fatal, emphasized the importance of the issues of marriage, race and prejudice. This tragedy revolves around many eternal themes, raises the question of political order, power relations and the terrible role that each individual has in such a politicized maze.
