Summary/Abstract: This article deals with the concept of computer-related crime. The author is particularly interested in the international law aspect of combating cybercrime, with specific reference to the provisions contained in the Cybercrime Convention (2002). Given the fact that no state is immune to cybercrime, the author explores the legal provisions related to combating computer crime. Further on in the paper, the author focuses on the categories of computer crime, elaborating on the distinctive features of different computer crimes and the general characteristics of their perpetrators.
