Summary/Abstract: The subject of the study are contemporary processes, trends and changes in the Polish language. The author, who is a Bulgarian living in Poland, looks at the new phenomena both as a side observer and as a participant in the Polish discourse. The text presents the main publications in Poland on the topic, thus aiming to show the Polish point of views on what is happening with the Polish language. The Polish author's publications convincing us that the main changes have affected the vocabulary, phraseology, word formation, stylistic organization and some pragmatic aspects of the Polish language. There are also some changes in the grammar system and the phonetics and phonology of the language. According to the author, Polish linguists are also distinguished by innovation, introducing new issues, such as the new language of values and the linguistic axiology. In recent years this themes has become an attractive and promising subject for all Slavonic linguistics and Poland is recognized as a science center where interesting international research projects are being implemented.
