Summary/Abstract: In this paper I present word-formation innovations like a few selected Polish and Bulgarian no-affix compounds with the initial foreign components. I reconstruct, basing on contextual analisys, the meaning of selected derivatives (like pol. eurosieroctwo, eurokredyt, ekościema, homopoprawność, homocenzura and bulg. еврошамар, екокре-дит, чалгареквием, ментеинвалид) and the conzeptualization path. I draw attention to the ambisemic character of many compound structures. I recognize these compounds as the result of a pragmatic derivation in context of the contemporary media communication reality.
