Summary/Abstract: Thanks to the collaboration of the group EGAE, we conducted a survey on the members of an online directory intended to promote the visibility of expert women in the public area. The analysis of the 190 participations allows us to answer several questions, among which: Who are the people who agree to become an expert and what motivations do they have? How do they perceive the role of an expert and what skills do they associate with him? What are the forms of social link created among members of this online community? By doing this, we examine how a sample constituted of women only has mobilized around a project, in order to reduce the inequality among men and women in media.
