Summary/Abstract: Valère Novarina, contemporary French drama writer and director uses the media as a source of inspiration of his works. There is a figure in his dramas – which appears in his texts in the 90’ – using the language of the news and tabloid media; and having a strange costume, similar to TV presenters and announcers. These figures speak only the clichés of the media, they repetitive phrasing gives a burlesque or travesty of the media – without a didactical goal but with a sacral vocation.
