Summary/Abstract: This article defines the institution of marriage, the legal framework, its features and its characters. The state is directly interested in defending marriage and family and therefore regulates how divorce is done. We will find the reasons of getting divorce and the ways respectively, by court, administrative and notary, as well as the psychological effects of both spouses and children following divorce.
