Summary/Abstract: The common belief of researchers is that the new technologies of information and communication have changed the practice of journalism and that this trend is at its very beginning. The aim of the paper is to determine in what way the new technologies have modified the professional practice of Romanian young journalists and their professional identity, on one hand, and, on the other hand, how the new technologies have altered the domain of journalistic communication. To fulfill this aim, we interviewed young journalists who use new technologies in their work for legacy and digital media companies.
