Summary/Abstract: The phase of National Renaissance (1908 - 1912), which resulted with incomplete independence of Albania, during the First Balkan War, was distinguished with peak years in its national essence reflexes. The Platform of distinguished scholars of the Renaissance was effectively developed and framed after the Revolution of Young Ottomans, when for a certain temporal distance Albanians breathed more freely. All this resulted in further political and cultural independence, which had as a consequence organization of the Congress regarding the national alphabet in November of 1908, in Manastir. Regardless divergences and occurrence of different viewpoints, political thought of National Renaissance marks the triumph over conservative wing, which aimed to use Albanian alphabet with Arabic letters. In the path of political and cultural emancipation a special role undoubtedly had national press in foreign countries. Newspapers such as: “Drita”, “Dielli”, “Shpnesa e Shqypnisë”, “Lirija”, etc., with their members such as: Shahin Kolonja, Dervish Hima, Mid’hat Frashëri, Asdreni, together with Ismail Qemali, Luigj Gurakuqi, Faik Konica and Fan Noli, enriched the fund of political thought during 1908-1912. Within this frame should be noticed also their influence in numerous protests sent to the Great Powers, in the design of numerous programs and memorandums which ultimately have obviously had an impact on the path of establishing national independence.
