Some peculiarities of the offense committed in the banking field

Summary/Abstract: The present study deals with one of the facts which traditionally criminal codes have incriminated, namely, embezzlement when committed in the context of banking activities. In particular, the study analyzes the elements of specificity recorded by this offence with reference to the qualification of the bank employee of a privately owned bank as a public servant from the perspective of criminal law. Also it is admitted the possibility of it being committed by an employee of the bank regarding sums of money in deposit accounts of some bank customers.
