Summary/Abstract: The research is based on the real solutions applied in the Romanian institutions, more precisely the Romanian Police, regarding the improvement of decision-making quality and performance. The direction of the Romanian Police modernization strategy is analysed. Special attention is paid to the improvement of the strategy of the decision-making processes in the field of continuous formation and specialization of the police cadres.
