Summary/Abstract: This paper describes the establishment, organization andchanges in the organization of the Danube Banate Board of Red Cross Society inNovi Sad, the establishment of medical and humanitarian sections, as well as thestaff training through schools and courses, helping the poor, fundraising, collectingfood and other necessities to the victims from natural disasters. The work is basedon the data from the archive material of the Society which is located in the Archiveof Vojvodina.
