Summary/Abstract: Marriage allows the exercise of the right to the affirmation of personal identity and the development, free and coherent, of the person in respect of their private life. There is no logical or rational reason that could obstruct the access of homosexuals to the institution of marriage. The importance of extending marriage to homosexual couples is beyond the barrier of aspiration of the scope of relative rights related to marriage, such as the adoption of another's name, inheritance, food, inclusion in health insurance and social security, ability to adopt, etc. Equal marriage is concretized in the recognition of current bonds, granting the same status and value as heterosexual relationships.
