Summary/Abstract: The new media and technological development leads to the changes in communication behavior and experiencing of reality. We spend more time in a virtual environment - the hyperreality. We live in a simulacrum, a simulated reality, which is becoming much more realistic than reality - the original, a copy of which we create in a virtual environment. Article highlights the changes in the perception of reality in the time of digital media and describes the adaptation of people and technology to these changes.
