Summary/Abstract: This article deals with the semantic persons nomination (in particular its metaphoric way) in the Ukrainian argotic systems. The studying phenomenon is conducted in the linguo-cultural context. The formation of names of this type are mainly based on the use of precedent proper names or names of persons connected with historical and cultural events or literary characters. Nominative processes were caused by using carnivalization principle implemented by the language game. The analyzed material confirms the special argotic system and processes within it.
